The project comprises three wastewater pumping stations located at different sites, a wastewater collection and conveyance network, gravity sewer transmission lines leading to the pumping stations, and pressurized transmission pipelines extending from the pumping stations to the Bushehr Wastewater Treatment Plant.
To date, the concrete structure of the pumping station known as PS2 has been constructed using the Top-Down construction method. In addition, the retaining structures for the underground pumping stations “B” and “G” have been completed following the execution of more than 400 Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) columns.
Furthermore, approximately 20 kilometers of the wastewater collection network have been installed, along with more than 10,800 meters of underground GRP pressurized transmission pipelines with diameters of 700 mm and 1,000 mm.
The overall physical progress of the project is currently estimated at 39.3%.
To date, nearly 30,000 direct labor man-hours have been expended on the execution of the project.
Approximately 70% of the project-specific equipment and materials—including various pumps, valves, pipelines, screening equipment, control panels, instrumentation devices, and related components—have been procured and delivered to the project site.
It is anticipated that the remaining works will be completed and the project will be commissioned within the next 18 months.
